Rule 9
Director's work duties and rights
Director's work, duties and rights will be as follows :-
(a) Investigate or conduct investigations in a professional manner of crimes received in the Bureau,
(b) To regularly monitor and evaluate the investigation work done by the investigation officer (c) To control and supervise the investigation officers and investigation units or branch offices,
(d) To send opinions and suggestions to the police headquarters on matters related to the investigation and investigation of crimes related to heinous, organized, multinational nature and serious violations of human rights,
(e) conducting the day-to-day administrative operations of the Bureau,
(f) Conducting work in coordination with investigative agencies of friendly countries in the investigation of international crimes, organized crimes,
(G) Coordination with the media and stakeholders on contemporary issues related to the investigation of crime and arrange information flow,
(h) Making a plan regarding the professional development, training and other facilities of the manpower working in the Bureau and doing the necessary work for its implementation,
(i) To submit regular reports to the Inspector General of Police about the functioning of the Bureau, the investigation system and the crime situation,
(j) To submit the annual report of activities related to the investigation of crimes carried out by the Bureau to the Inspector General of Police within three months of the end of the financial year,
(k) To perform other tasks as prescribed by the Inspector General of Police.
